The Howard County Hall of Legends will inaugurate a new class of inductees on Thursday evening, April 23, 2026. Stay tuned for more information!

May

HCHS presents America at 250: Howard County and Beyond, a lecture series exploring topics related to America’s Semiquincentennial! Our first lecture in this series willl be on May 13 featuring guest speaker Dr. Mark Canada with his presentation Benjamin Franklin and the Road to Revolution.

June

HCHS presents America at 250: Howard County and Beyond, a lecture series exploring topics related to America’s Semiquincentennial! Our second lecture in this series willl be on June 17 featuring guest speaker Gil Porter with his presentation on Aliff Henley.

The Seiberling Mansion will be open to the public on Saturday, June 20th at no charge in recognition of Juneteenth.

July

HCHS will be having an ice cream social on July 4th to celebrate America's birthday! Come check out the Mansion and eat some ice cream with your friends and family --- for free!

The Howard County Historical Society invites you to come enjoy Mr. Kingston's Auto Exhibition on the lawn of the Seiberling Mansion on July 24, 2026 from 4 PM - 8 PM & July 25, 2026 from 10 AM - 2 PM.

September

HCHS presents America at 250: Howard County and Beyond, a lecture series exploring topics related to America’s Semiquincentennial! Our fourth lecture in this series willl be on September 10 featuring guest speaker Dr. Mark Canada with his presentation The Other Benjamin Franklin: A Revolutionary Before the Revolution.

October

The Howard County Historical Society will be hosting its annual Sexton's Tales: Reliving History at Kokomo's Crown Point Cemetery. The HCHS Cemetery Walk event will take place at Crown Point Cemetery on October 9 & 10, 2026. Check back soon for more information about auditions.

November

Join us for our 2026 HCHS Annual Meeting of the membership! This year's meeting will be held on November 17, 2026.

December

Join us in December for our annual Christmas at the Seiberling Event! Tickets are available online or at the door. It is $10 for adults, $5 for students K-12, and 5 and under are free.

Opening Night is November 28, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Free sponsor nights are December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Candlelight Night is December 19 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
